early Monday on the Southwest Side.The man was in the 3700 block of West 79th Street about 4:15 a.m. when he was shot, according to police News Affairs Officer John Mirabelli.
Ramil Celestin, of 7353 N. Sheridan Rd., was pronounced on the scene at 8 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
Circumstances surrounding the shooting are still being investigated, but based on preliminary information, Celestin was shot during a possible armed robbery, Mirabelli said.

My Brother and I were just talking about how bad Chicago is, in relation to gun violence. The numbers are crazy. There were a total of 7 deaths within 24 hrs that weekend. The shootings occurred between 6:15 a.m. Saturday and just before 6 a.m. Sunday. All 7 were men between the ages of 20-30.
